When your hungry and lazy and cheap. But mostly lazy.

When my mom came to the states, she was pretty poor so she saved on money by buying really shitty food from cans when she first came here. She fed me these foods to me as a child and I thought everyone ate food like this but apparently not everyone does haha. Most of them are probably bad for you but when you make it, just don’t look at the nutritional label okay? :)

This is my list of quick easy food that is surprisingly delicious in descending amount of preparation time. Since rice is a staple in my diet, all these are assuming you have rice already prepared. Why am I doing this? WHY NOT. This is the knowledge I choose to impart to the world. lol the Son legacy. ANYWAY:

5. Fried Tofu & Rice
Cost: $1 - 2 meals
Time: 12 minutes

I like this one <3 Usually one container is enough for 2 meals.
This one is actually pretty healthy. Minus the MSG.

You need:
- Tofu
- Olive Oil (or any other cooking oil)
- Salt
- MSG (monosodium glutamate)
- Frying pan

1. Cut tofu into rectangles about a centimeter thick.
2. Put olive oil on the pan.
3. Put tofu on the pan.
4. Sprinkle MSG and salt onto tofu
5. Leave for about 5 minutes or so, or until the bottom is golden brown
6. flip
7. Sprinkle MSG and salt
8. 5 minutes again, or until golden brown
9. eat with rice

4. Spam with Rice
Cost: ~$4/Can - 3 meals
Time: 7 minutes

I usually can split this into 3 meals since spam is is really salty.
Not healthy but really good.

You need:
- Spam
- Frying pan

1. Cut spam about 1 centimeter thick or thinner. Getting the first one out is the hardest. PROTIP: take a butter knife and cut close to the edge, then press the knife hard against the first piece and slide the knife directly up. Or call me over so I can do it for you and we can have a spam party.
2. Put on frying pan, no oil needed because the oil from the spam will be enough lol.
3. Fry til crispy on both sides
4. Eat with rice

3. Fried Bologna with Rice
Cost: 2 packages for $5 at Food 4 Less/Costco - ~3 meals per package

I have experimented with different types of bologna, and I have to tell you, it has to be ALL BEEF. I tried the pork/chicken mix. IT IS NOT GOOD. Get light bologna if it makes you feel better about your health choices.

You need:
- Bologna ALL BEEF. OSCAR MAYER.
- Fry Pan

1. Take 3-4 slices and put it on the frying pan, no oil needed
2. cook and flip
3. Eat with rice

2. Vienna Sausages + Dried seaweed + RiceCost: 60cents/can and $5 for each package of sheets of dried seaweed - 1 meal per can and 2-3 per package of seaweed depending on how you cut it
Time: 1.5 minutes

I probably eat this one the most lol.

You need:
- Vienna sausage
- Cut Dried seaweed

1. open can
2. drain liquid
3. put sausages on a plate and microwave for 1 minute
4. eat by putting a little sausage and rice wrapped in seaweed NOM

1.Asian canned tuna with rice
Cost: $3-4 per can - 2 meals
Time: 10 seconds

You can only really find this in asian markets. It says mild tuna, and the brand is “Ottogi.” its not spicy at all, not even mild. This is NOT regular put-on-your-sandwich kind of tuna.

You need:
- This can of tuna.

1. Open can of tuna
2. Eat with Rice.
